Use this article if:
Your school does not have a Timetable Integration with Edrolo, but uses one of the following timetable systems:
- Timetabling Solutions
- TES (E10)
- Griddle
Note: If you don’t have one of these timetable systems or an integration, please follow this article to complete Edrolo’s CSV timetable template.
Export Requirements
- We require the school’s full exported Timetable data files to set up your Edrolo classes
- Even after the initial set up, timetable data must contain all teachers, students and class details for all of your Edrolo classes
- If any classes, teachers or students are missing it will result in them being removed from Edrolo when the timetable data in processed
Timetabling Solutions Export
If you use the TTS Desktop version, follow these steps to generate the required files:
- Open your TTS file and ensure the correct date for your 2027 timetable is selected.
- From the top menu, click File, then select Export Data —> Admin System.
- From the drop-down list, select Edrolo, then click Next.
- Click Export to export the files to your configured Export folder, or select a different location.
- This will create three files titled:
- Edrolo-Classes
- Edrolo-Students
- Edrolo-Teachers
- This will create three files titled:
- Click Yes to close the export wizard.
- Upload all three files in the Admin Hub

Remember to choose Timetabling Solutions in the drop-down menu when attaching the 3 files

TES Edval Export
- Navigate to File > Synchronise > Configure
- Select the 'Sync' tab
- Click on the blue plus button and select 'Edrolo (flat files)
- Click on the Configure button, or, select the 'Connection' tab.
- Destination Folder: Browse to select the folder where the two csv export files are to be saved, OK
- Perform the Export
- Go to File > Synchronise > Sync now
- Select 'Edrolo (flat files)' from the Filter menu
- Select 'Create TT publish file'

The sync will create 2 CSV files in the folder specified earlier
- Upload the csv file in the Admin Hub
- Remember to choose TES in the drop-down menu when attaching the two CSV files
Griddle Export
For instructions on exporting from Griddle, please refer to the attached PDF guide.
- To export student allocations navigate to Reports > Student Allocations.
- To generate the report select the relevant year level/s. Then click the export button.
- Clicking the export button will download a .csv file of all selected student allocation data.

Note ‘Select All’ or ‘Deselect All’ in the options for the Year Level drop-down toggle.Clicking Select All will check all boxes, allowing for all data from all year levels to be
exported. This can be useful if spreadsheet manipulation is required to produce whole
school reports

- Upload the csv file in the Admin Hub
- Remember to choose Griddle in the drop-down menu when attaching the CSV file
How to Send Your Exported Data to Us
Complete this step of the process once you have the required files in the correct format
- Log in to the Admin Hub
- Navigate to Timetabling and click on Upload CSV
3. In the ‘Timetable format’ drop down, select your schools Timetable system
4. In the ‘Timetable data is for’ drop down, select the Academic Year the data is for
- Upload the correct number of files for your timetable system
- You will get an on-screen notification that they have ben sent to Edrolo
Next steps:
- A member of the Edrolo team will review your data to ensure it’s been correctly uploaded
- Edrolo will then notify you that your data is ready to be mapped in Admin Hub
- Once this is complete, you can refer to this article to complete Class Mapping
