How to manually add a class that does not appear in the timetable (2.0)

How do I add a class that's not in my timetable?

You can create a class manually in Admin Hub whenever a class doesn't come through from your school's timetable data. Head to Classes, click Add a class, then choose Manual.

Tip: Give your class a clear title so you can easily tell it apart from your timetabled classes later on.

Creating your class manually

1. In Admin Hub, click Classes in the left-hand menu.
2. Click Add a class in the top right corner.

3. In the Add classes window, click Manual, next to From timetable.

4. In the Class title field, type a name for your class - this will show as the class code.

5. Click the Subject dropdown and search for the Edrolo subject you'd like to link this class to.

6. Click Create class.

Your new class now appears in your class list alongside your timetabled classes.

Adding students and teachers to your new class

1. From your class list, click on your new class to open it.
2. Under Students, click Add a student.

3. Search by the student's name or email address, then select them from the list. Repeat for each student you want to add.

4. To add teachers, click the ⋮ menu at the top right of the class page and choose Manage teachers.

2. Search for the teacher by name and add them to the class.

⚠️ Note: Because this class was created manually rather than pulled in from your timetable, it won't appear on your Timetabling page, and it won't update automatically if your school's timetable data changes later. You'll need to keep its students and teachers up to date yourself.
