Navigating Timetable page 2.0

How do I connect my timetable and map my classes in Edrolo?

You connect your school's timetable data and map your classes from the Timetabling page in your Admin Hub. It only takes a few steps, and the page shows you exactly which stages are done and which are still outstanding.

Tip: you don't need to finish everything in one sitting. Edrolo saves your progress as you go, so you can come back and pick up wherever you left off.

Finding the Timetabling page

  1. Log in to Edrolo and open your Admin Hub.
  2. From the dashboard, click Manage timetabling under Quick actions.

  1. Or, use the menu on the left instead. Click Timetabling — it sits between Classes and Payment reports.

Once you're on the page, you'll see four stages across the top: Data connected, Classes identified, Map your classes, and Changes visible. Each one turns green with a tick once it's complete, so you can see your progress at a glance.

If your school hasn't connected a timetable system yet

If your school uses a timetabling or student information system — such as Wonde, Compass, or Edval — you can connect it here so class and enrolment data flows into Edrolo automatically.

  1. In the Configuration section, click Edit connection.
  2. You'll be taken to the Integrations page, where you can search for and connect your school's system.
  3. Once connected, check that the Subscription year field is set to the correct academic cycle for your school.

⚠️ Note: if your school doesn't use one of the supported timetabling systems, you can still get your classes into Edrolo by uploading a comma-separated values (CSV) file instead — look for the Upload CSV button in the same section.

If your timetable system is already connected

If a connection is already active, you'll see its name and an Active badge in the Configuration section, along with the date of the last sync.

  1. Check the Last sync date to confirm your data is up to date.
  2. If you need to reconnect or change your settings, click Edit connection.
  3. If you'd rather send class data manually instead of syncing, click Upload CSV.

Mapping your classes to Edrolo subjects

Once your timetable data is connected, the next step is class mapping. This links each of your school's classes to the right Edrolo subject, so every year level gets the correct curriculum resources for the current period.

  1. Scroll down to the Class mapping section.
  2. Check the summary tiles: Total classes, Mapped, Unmapped, and Student enrolments. These tell you how much mapping is still outstanding.
  3. View this article if you need assistance mapping your classes.

Once every class is mapped, the Classes identified and Map your classes stages will turn green, and your changes will flow through to the final Changes visible stage.
