Tasks 2.0 is an updated version of the task builder and student task experience. This article summarises what has changed and links to the relevant how-to articles.
What's new in Tasks 2.0
Guided task setup Creating a task now takes you through a short setup wizard: task type, name and dates, then class or student selection. Edrolo uses your selections to filter relevant content in the builder, so you spend less time searching.
Content search You can search for content by topic, concept, or keyword. The search returns ranked results rather than a lesson-by-lesson list.
Live engagement view Once a task is live, you can see in real time how many students have started, how many are in progress, and how many have submitted. Click any student to see their question-by-question breakdown.
Sharing tasks with colleagues You can share any task with one or more colleagues and set them as an Editor or Viewer. Everyone with access sees the same live engagement data.
Download and print Any task with questions can be downloaded as a PDF worksheet, with or without solutions included.
Videos in tasks You can add Edrolo video clips directly inside a task, alongside questions. Students watch the video inline and continue to the next question without leaving the task.
Spaced Retrieval Spaced Retrieval tasks now run fortnightly instead of weekly, and archive automatically after 14 days.
