How to grant access to Timetable Coordinator

If your school's Timetable/Edrolo Coordinator needs access to the Admin Hub, you can assign them in just a few steps.

This guide will walk you through the process of checking their account status and granting access, whether they already exist in your system or need to be added.

Steps to grant admin access

  1. Search for the staff member in your Admin Hub
    • Go to your Admin Hub, navigate to “Users” and use the search bar to locate the staff member by their name or email.
  2. If found: add Admin role
    • On the staff list, open the ••• menu for the person
    • Select “Edit”
    • Assign them the Admin role by ticking the box
    • Save changes by clicking “Update users”

⚠️ Changing a role updates the person’s access across Admin Hub. Review permissions in your school’s policy if you’re unsure which role to use. Refer to this article to understand the difference among different user roles--> Understanding User Roles and Permissions

  3. If not found: create a staff account first and add Admin role
    • Select “Add Staff” (found at the top-right corner)
    • Enter the staff member’s details (name, email)
    • Assign them the Admin role by ticking the box
    • Save changes by clicking “Update users”

  4. If found and already has the Admin role
    • That’s great! Their account is already set up.
    • They can access the Admin Hub from the bottom-left corner menu after clicking on their “Profile”.
  5. Ask them to log in
    • If they’re new to the platform, they’ll receive an activation email, suggest them to follow the steps to set up their account.
    • If they’re a current user, they can log in directly.
