User Management lets school admins add, edit, and remove staff and student accounts and manage their roles from one place.
At a glance
- Where: Admin Hub → User management
- Who can use this: Users with admin permissions for your school or organisation
- What you can do: Add staff, edit details, change roles, resend invites, reset passwords, and remove staff from your school

The User management screen lists all staff at your school:
- Tabs: Switch between Staff and Students
- Search: Find staff by name or email
- Columns: First name, Last name, Email, Role, and Actions

Row actions: The ••• menu on each row includes Edit details, Send invitation, Reset password, and Remove from school
✅ Tip: Use search to quickly confirm whether an account already exists before adding a new one.
Add a staff account
- Select Add staff
- Enter First name, Last name, and Email address
- Choose a Role. Understanding User Roles and Permissions
- Create user
After creating the account, you may be prompted to add the staff member to a class now or later. You can skip this step and come back any time from your class management screens.
ℹ️ New users won’t be able to sign in until they accept their invitation or complete a password setup.
Edit a staff account
Use this to update names, email addresses, or roles.
- On the staff list, open the ••• menu for the person
- Select Edit details
- Make your changes

Save changes
⚠️ Changing a role updates the person’s access across Admin Hub. Review permissions in your school’s policy if you’re unsure which role to use.
Send or resend an invitation
If someone has not received their invite or the original link expired:
- Open the ••• menu
- Select Send invitation
The user will receive an email with a link to finish setting up their account.
Reset a staff password
If a user has forgotten their password:
- Open the ••• menu
- Select Reset password
- Confirm
The user receives an email with instructions to create a new password.
Remove a staff member from your school
Use this when someone leaves your school or should no longer have access.
- Open the ••• menu
- Select Remove from school
- Review the warning
- Continue
What happens when you remove staff:
- They immediately lose access to your school in Edrolo
👉 Best practice: Remove staff after reassigning any classes or responsibilities to another person to avoid disruption.
