Overview:
User Management lets school admins view and manage student accounts from one place. Students won’t have access to this feature; their access is limited to their assigned classes and learning materials.
Note: Creating new student accounts is not available in Admin Hub at this time. New accounts can only be created through timetable data uploads (CSV) or Integrations.
At a glance:

- Who can use this: Users with admin permissions (Understanding User Roles and Permissions) for your school
- What you can do: Change class enrolments, resend account invitations, reset student passwords, remove students from your school
What you can do:
- Move students between classes or add/remove class membership
- Send or resend account invitations
- Reset a student’s password
- Remove a student from your school
What you can’t do at this stage:
- Edit student names or email addresses: students can do this in their individual accounts
- Add new student accounts: use your school’s provisioning or class management process instead
Step-by-step guides:
⚠️ If your school uses a timetabling sync (for example, Compass, Wonde, or LISS), make the same changes in your timetabling system as well. The timetabling sync is treated as the source of truth, so any changes made only in Admin Hub may be overwritten the next time your timetable syncs.
Add or move a student to ensure they appear in the right classes:
- From the student's row, open the ••• menu and select Edit classes.
- View all classes and related subjects in Edrolo the student has been assigned to.
- Choose one of these options:
- Add student to another class:
- Click "Add class" button
- Select the desired class from dropdown
- Click "Add" to confirm
- Move a student to another class:
- Click ••• on the current class
- Select "Move to another class"
- Choose destination class
- Click "Move to class" to confirm
- Note: This removes them from the current class
- Remove from a class:
- Click ••• on the class
- Select "Remove from this class"
- Review and confirm

The student can be added again later if needed
- Add student to another class:
Reset a student’s password:
If a student has forgotten their password:
- Open the ••• menu.
- Select Reset password.
- Confirm.
The student receives an email with instructions to create a new password.
Remove a student from your school:
Use this when a student leaves or should no longer have access.
- Open the ••• menu.
- Select Remove from school.
- Review the warning.

What happens when you remove a student:
- They immediately lose access to your school in Edrolo.
- Consider exporting any student or class results you may need before removal.
