The new Student Home is your streamlined starting point for Edrolo, built to help you quickly find what's due and resume learning in fewer steps.
What Can You Do on the Student Home?
The Student Home brings together three main functions to improve how you start and track your study session:
- Upcoming Tasks List: Shows all your teacher-assigned work with clear due dates so nothing slips
- One-Click Resume: Gets you back into your last lesson for any subject without searching or navigating
- Weekly Progress Signals: Displays your effort over the last week (questions answered, videos viewed) to help you build consistent study habits
Key Components:
1. See What's Due Next
- The Upcoming tasks section on the right side of the screen shows all work assigned by your teacher.
- Task Window: It displays tasks due within the next 7 days or up to 7 days overdue.
- Clear Status: Tasks are labeled with clear states like Overdue, Due tomorrow, and Due in X days.
- Ordering: Tasks are always ordered by their due date, ensuring the most urgent work is at the top.

Action: Clicking on a task opens the Task Overview page immediately.
2. Continue Your Last Lesson in One Click
The subject cards in the main section now include a fast-access link to pick up exactly where you left off.
Resume Logic: The system aims to send you to the most relevant learning point, prioritising where you last interacted with question responses.
First Use: If you have no history in a subject, it will prompt you to Start your first lesson.
3. Track Your Weekly Study Habits
At the top of the page, you'll see simple metrics designed to give you light-touch motivation.
Metrics Tracked: Questions answered, Videos viewed, and Time spent.
Tasks Streak: continuously tracks eligible teacher-created tasks, only those with a set due date that you complete on time (before the due date has passed) are counted.
